Even in this new world, a world of non-determinism and vibes, reliability is still important (if predictability, a little less so). And I believe that with this we can bring many of the same philosophies, some processes, same practices... and same tools. In our 5.0 blog post we discussed how Caffeine is a manifestation of the assumption/guarantee model. Our next release is us extending this model to support true, agentic applications (no longer just focused on ones "created agentically").
The original premise of Caffeine is a model for defining system expectations. On top of this we built a layer of assumptions and furthermore we clarified that blueprints are really just measurements.
